Mamatoo

I was longing to make a dark-skinned doll.I wanted to create someone who was really a mother and Mamatoo was born.

I love her! She is one of my favourites.

She measures 65cm (24,5")

Mamatoo has the form of African woman with rounded hips and large buttocks. She carries her baby strapped on her back with a colourful cloth and is ready to go out wearing her traditional African dress and a bright yellow silk turban and bangled earings.

Her little one wears a diaper. He has "rasta" dreadlocks and is full of mischief.
